After a public appeal, raising over £150,000. Every serviceman was to receive a Princess Mary Christmas Tin. The embossed brass tins, containing items like tobacco, cigarettes, sweets and a photo of Princess Mary were a national effort for all "Kings uniform wearers". The goal was Christmas day 1914 for those at the frontline, but some recipients got theirs in January 1915.

Harry Bass Striking 1970`s 9 Carat Gold Cocktail Dress Ring, set with a large Mabe Pearl. Open Wirework and Bead Mount tapering band, with textured shoulders. Mark`s Mark HB, Hallmarked London 1972.
