Born in the in the Kyle of Lochalsh, on Scotland’s West Coast, Donald Shearer studied painting in Aberdeen at Grays School of Art where he achieved an RSA Award. He has exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts.
It is for his highly detailed and striking landscapes that he is best known, his original work and limited edition prints being collected by enthusiasts all over the world
